This bowlback style mandolin was made in the Cremona workshops (situated in Luby ) likely in the 1960s, in typical local style – it features a purfled solid spruce top, maple compound bowl and a rosewood fretboard.
It is in good condition for its age and with a great sound, though it will likely require some work to get into perfect playing condition. The upper frets currently do not play properly, and so it will likely require a refret. It is currently strung left-handed, though this could easily be changed by flipping the nut and the bridge. The finish has some checks and cracks, due to its age. Please see pictures for more details.
