It was at G&L, at the end of his immense career, that Leo Fender designed his most beautiful guitars.
When Leo Fender sold his company to an investment fund more interested in dividends than in the world of musical instruments, he did not know that he was on the eve of creating his most successful models. With the founding of G&L, he continued to improve the concept. And the Tribute Asat, while affordable, is the legacy of this attention to detail and perfection.
Two models.
Inspired by the mythical Broadcaster for their aesthetics, the Tribute Asat are mainly available in two models: solid body and semi hollow or thinline. In both cases, the Asat succeed in mixing absolute classicism with a successful electronics which associates the clear and slamming sound of the simple coil with the warm sound of the humbucker.
A real touch.
The luthiery is irreproachable with finishes that we don't necessarily expect on production guitars in this price range and this, without wanting to point the finger at some models that have an inverted "F" shaped logo... But still! In short, Asat guitars offer an excellent grip, a no-frills but effective bridge, and above all a real tonal versatility.
From blues to classic rock to pop, these guitars show a real character and an inimitable style.
