6.5" speakers 6 1/2" speakers woofers BOSE Pair! CLOTH (not foam) surrounds Guitar/bass//car/hifi

.  Up for grabs is this PAIR of Bose 6 1/2" speakers..
  This is a NEW pair...and a really cool history...
  I am the second owner of these since they were manufactured....
. This pair was a sales rep/lab tech proto pair for analysis of a production type run of speakers....
  I obtained these from the late great Steve Loberger, whom was a tech engineer for one of the largest speaker manufacturing facilities in the country.. After he passed, I have acquired these (and others), which have simply sat on my shelf since then, so it's time to pass them onto someone who can give them a good new WORKING home...
 The cool thing about this 6 1/2" pair, is that they have acoustically transparent/open weave dust caps (which lets out just the right amount of mids/ hi end directly out of the coil/core area for extended response), and the fact that they have CLOTH surrounds!!!
 As many of you Bose owners know- they sound great, but they need a LOT of servicing,,,,,  say every 5-8 years the foam rots out, and you have to spend $$$ for service/surrounds to repair the rotted parts...
  NOT SO with this pair!!!. They both have half roll/ high compliance CLOTH surrounds!!!  NO MORE foam rot- EVER!!!!, And, I think they sound better anyhow!
..   GREAT for other applications besides home hi fi, such as small compact guitar enclosures, bass guitar, even automotive installs would be awesome to have the Bose tonality in that application..
  Each is 8 Ohms and probably 50 watts...nice wide response, allows 2 way designs...
* Fully tested and no rubbing/buzzing/etc- they work just peachy....
 *I'm confident enough that you'll love what you just bought, that I'm offering my 15 day "NO GAMBLE " return option from delivery date (((less customer damage ))) if for ANY REASON you simply don't like what you just bought!!!!
..   So, if you need a great sounding, superior build pair of 6.5" Bose speakers, then here ya' go!!!
