1980 ELK EM-11 Professional ECHO machine- 8 Track tape delay- Packed with features!

Vintage Elk EM-11 Professional ECHO machine.

This is a sought after ELK tape echo machine. Great size with lots of features and if I may say so myself, a handsome little devil. The tape heads are in great condition, the cabinet is nice, the face plate clean. I opened it up and hit the pots and switches, cleaned and demagnetized the heads, cleaned and lubricated the flywheel, cleaned the cabinet and polished all the chrome, cleaned all the inputs/outputs. It is ready to go!

Lots of features in a little package here- RCA ins and outs, phono ground, Effect send/return, foot switch jack, two mic and one instrument inputs. Adjustable repeat amount, echo volume and speed control etc. Has internal pots to adjust as well. This gives nice long echos and oscillates completely out on max. Great slap back echos! Uses any recordable 8 track- try different tapes to get different echo qualities.
Elk is a popular vintage brand in Japan and for good reason. They are very well built, quality machines. The prices on these, like most tape echos are going crazy here. I sold them on reverb last year for what I pay for them now and I spend hours going through these machines getting them ready for you to enjoy.
