Goodsell Champton

Just in time for the holidays comes this Goodsell Champton 1x10" 8-watt combo. The 8-watt version with the Ragin' Cajun speaker was formerly known as the "Champton Plus", but they are now all built to this specification. Louder, cleaner, and bigger-sounding than you might imagine, it also has a tone control and a thick leather handle, and is powered by a 5881 tube through an over-sized 15w output transformer. Most champ-based boutiques cost hundreds more and don't give you any of these things. With a maximum SPL of 109dB it is giggable where a lot of others, especially those with 8" speakers, simply can't hang with the rest of the band.

Switchfoot's Drew Shirley was kind enough to text me a short clip of him noodling with the Champton for a minute in the studio. The amp in this listing is identical to the one he's playing in the clip.
