The ECR1-N has a solid spruce top and solid mahogany sides and back.  The hand selected tone woods insure the quality sound and durability. You can see and feel the quality when you hold it. Beautiful open sound with clarity and detail , very well balanced in front of the guitar.  The side mounted sound port directs the body sound precisely to your ears andI hear nuance and tone. I have some hearing loss due to my military service and I especially enjoyed the side sound hole.

The sustain is among the best I have heard on an acoustic guitar. It is perfect for song writing and solo playing but there is also great frontal projection and when plugged in the electronics package XLR and quarter inch jacks are both active and does a superb job with lot's of flexibility for a monitor and sound board application.

Check out the Active Balanced Acoustic System that incorporates a four range equalizer with a tuner and phase switch that allows you to contour your music at the guitar level.
