1969 Martin D-28. This one is coming out of my personal collection. It’s among the best sounding D-28s I’ve had, but I just got a prewar Martin and need to let something go.
The guitar has a very nice, balanced tone, wonderful sustain, and is a joy to play.
This one still has Brazilian Rosewood. The wood grain is quite beautiful and decorative.
The guitar has received all the necessary servicing and set up, including a fresh neck reset, bridge reglue, new nut, and saddle, and professional refret. It is ready to go for 30 more years of musical enjoyment.
Remember that Paul McCartney used a similar D-28 from the same era during the Let it Be sessions.
During this era, Martin was using black piclean guards that tended to shrink and curl up along the edges and then fall off. This one therefore has a replacement pickguard. There is also one repair to the side on the treble shoulder where it took a “bump” years ago that has been properly cleated.
I will ship this worldwide, but I will not falsify customs forms.
