Cornell Plexi 7 1x10” Combo in Custom Purple Tolex

This is a brilliant little amp, and almost impossible to find outside the UK. Handbuilt in the UK in 2011 by legendary amp designer Dennis Cornell, these are the ultimate boutique amp for that classic Marshall Plexi tone.

This amp features a punchy 10” Celestion G10 Vintage 80th Anniversary Special Edition speaker and is finished in a lovely custom purple finish. Other than the tone, the standout feature here is a built-in attenuator which takes the power down from 7W to (I think!) 0.05W. That lets you get all that creamy, crunchy distortion at bedroom/apartment-friendly volumes.

These rarely come up for sale, and never in such good condition. It’s not light, and I’d prefer in-person pickup in Chatswood or Sydney CBD.
