The Founder brand was part of the Daion distribution network and the guitars were made by either Dyna Gakki (Tokai) or Yamaki. Founder is the sister brand of Joo Dee. This is a rare set neck model and is a well made example of mid to late 70s Japanese craftmanship. Is in very good condition overall and plays flawlessly. Frets and neck are in excellent condition, electronics all work and it sounds fantastic. Plenty of sustain and grip. Weighs about 4kg. There is some gunk on the headstock, one of the tuners is a bit stiff but the rest is in excellent order. The bridge pickup has been replaced with a PAF style humbucker but the neck is the original single coil "fauxbucker". Apart from the bridge pickup guitar is all original with Japanese marked hardware. Comes in a vintage compact hardcase with key and will be well set up.

Pickup and inspection is available at Point Frederick NSW (1 hour from Sydney) or I can courier Australia wide well packaged with optional insurance. International shipping available on request.
