BSG guitars are built by Jan Štovíček in the Czech Republic, and are highly regarded for their very high build quality, sublime craftsmanship and impressive sound.
This GJ16F is packed with features that enhance playability and tone, and its foundation is solid flamed maple back and sides and a solid Alpine spruce top. These types of wood provide the clarity that benefits this baritone; the bass is therefore prominent, but certainly not muddy!
Sometimes called the "Super Jumbo" due to the greater body volume of this instrument, the Grand Jumbo offers a broader spectrum and color of deeper, richer tones. It has a very solid and powerful sound in the bass, complemented by characteristic mids with clear highs.
The guitar is supplied with a TFOA passport in a Hiscox hardshell case.
