The Fender Parallel Universe Vol. II Jazz Strat Deluxe is here at Guitar Center. The offset body, maple top and solid rosewood neck make it very clear that this is no ordinary Stratocaster. Featuring Texas Special pickups, an American Pro tremolo and “witch hat” control knobs, the Jazz Strat Deluxe is made for the pro-level player who can confidently rock one distinctive guitar.

Tonewoods, Fit and FinishThe Jazz Strat Deluxe is made of alder, a tonewood Fender began using in 1956. The offset body is topped with figured maple and finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer.

Jazz Strat Neck ConstructionThe Jazz Strat Deluxe has a solid rosewood neck—a rare option generally seen on Custom Shop models—and has a C-shape profile. The fretboard is also rosewood, has 22 narrow tall frets and block inlays. 

Texas-Style ElectronicsFender outfitted the Jazz Strat Deluxe with Texas Special Strat single-coil pickups. Enamel-coated magnet wire adds to the vintage tone, and they’re built with period-correct cloth wire and fiber bobbins. The middle position pickup is reverse-wound to eliminate hum. A five-way pickup switch gives a wide-range of tonalities to explore.

Upgraded HardwareThe tremolo/vibrato on the Jazz Strat Deluxe is an American Professional. It has a pop-in arm with adjustable tension to fit your playing style. Vintage-style tuners offer precise adjustments.
