The R-446, with its sleek body shape and all black hardware, is certainly a looker. Its sculpted poplar body is made with player-comfort in mind, while the horns have been carved for improved access to the upper register. The bolt-on Canadian maple neck has a slim profile, making blazing fast licks and riffs effortless. The gorgeous Amaranth fingerboard features 24 jumbo frets and a 15.75” radius. At its heart are the two Artec Ceramic pickups, designed for high-gain definition and articulation. Use the master volume and tone control, and a 5-way switch, to choose between five different pickup settings, and dial in your tones exactly the way you like. Searing solos? Check. Brutal chugging?
