About This Listing

This cool Tweed amp is a 1959 Gibson GA-18 Explorer 10” amp that has two 12AX7 preamp tubes, two 6V6 power tubes and a 5Y3 rectifier tube. The Explorer amp makes about 14 watts and features a great tremolo effect. Her pot codes date to the 52nd week of 1958. This is quite original other than sporting a later Fender Blue Label speaker. These kick ass w/low watts & the perfect tube configuration. Very Good overall. This amp can be shipped thru our shop w/UPS but w/no warranty & sold as is. Amps always get tossed around & things can break loose. This is why I had it listed to pickup locally. All amps are tested & inspected prior to listing. There are no returns on amps & considered sold when they ship. Or I can arrange shipping for this amp for you thru any UPS or Fedex location in Ft.Lauderdale.
