About This Listing

For sale my Sovereign Harmony - difficult to date precisely but just by virtue of the make and model it is likely to be from the 60s and is certainly before 75 when Harmony were bought out by Gibson. The guitar is surprisingly light and despite having the appropriate knocks of a guitar that has been used for circa 50 years still plays beautifully and offers a responsive and range of tones, with a great big punchy sound when you want it.

There are some scratches on the body (pictured) and it has had its shoulder repaired professionally following a falling loom bobbin (you could not make it up). The mend is almost invisible and has not impacted the guitar at all.

To help protect the longevity of the instrument I have (on 12 gauge strings) often kept it de-tuned down a full tone (D) and have recently tried it out on 10 gauge strings. It actually sounds great on the deeper tones.

If you are looking for a really cool vintager 'players' acoustic guitar this one might well the one for you. It comes with a hard case (not original).
