About This Listing

This has been an amazing telecaster! I have two, and I love them equally in terms of tone and playability, BUT my wife and I are saving to buy a home, and my other tele has a bit more sentimental value. It really feels and sounds like a 50’s tele, and is the lightest electric guitar I have ever owned. CRAZY resonant! Swamp Ash guitars are getting rare these days, and a 1-piece body that’s this beautiful and lightweight is UNHEARD OF these days…I’ll include a short clip from a video of me demonstrating my Headrush Prime to some friends (really informal). Here’s some details from the shop I originally bought it from:

If you've been searching for a vintage blackguard telecaster, then look no further. This one of a kind guitar was hand crafted by local guitar builder Jeff Metz. Its hand wound pickups and thoroughly detailed road worn design pays homage to the classic and powerful sound of the Telecaster. This instrument was artificially aged and worn by hand. With a hand built neck and body and hand wound pickups, this is your ticket to classic Telecaster for a fraction of the price!
