About This Listing

MARC SILBER GUITAR CO. FLAMENCO NEGRA with a Montalvo Brand paper label.

BEAUTIFUL MONTALVO/SILBER HAND-MADE FLAMENCO NEGRA GUITAR MADE IN 1995. THIS IS WHEN I WAS PRESIDENT OF K & S GUITAR Co., working with Mexican luthiers, providing better quality timbers and techniques from the US to produce a broad range of instruments under the Casa Montalvo, K&S and Silber labels.

This one has "rose" Rosette, and multi-color wooden body bindings.

This is one nice guitar. The Mexican Rosewood gives a rich tonal palette. Cedar soundboards are known for their warm sound. Cedar also brings out high-frequency overtones and partials which lends itself to a shimmering brightness, almost like a little bit of built-in reverb.

ALL SOLID WOODS:

TOP = Western Red Cedar (Canada)

BODY = PALO ESCRITO(MEXICAN ROSEWOOD)

FINGERBOARD = EBONY

SCALE = 660 mm

NUT WIDTH = 2.0 INCHES.

BRIDGE = ROSEWOOD

TUNERS = GOTOH Deluxe Chrome

HAS CLEAR TAP-PLATES

Comes with Featherweight (hard foam) case.
