This is a vintage c. 1965 Alamo Fiesta hollow-body electric. Its finish is awesome, somewhere between red and pink. Alamo is perhaps best known for their amplifiers, but they of course were a prolific guitar manufacturer, as well. Made in Texas, this guitar is super light and compact, its body is made from birch plywood. With a design inspired by what seems equal parts Rickenbacker and American cars of the era, the Fiesta is an eye-catcher and certainly lives up to its name. A lot of players dig these as lap steel alternatives, as well - a tip of the hat to Alamo's roots. This one is in good shape and plays well with some chips in its finish and a small crack on its top edge near its neck pocket. Its pickups sound great - chimey and glassy - and it is super resonant and sounds awesome acoustically. Includes original case in fair condition.
