Hamer USA Monaco SuperPro Custom Shop 2004 Ruby Red Transparent

This is a stunning example of a custom-built SuperPro from 2004. It was ordered and built with no fingerboard inlays and no neck binding. The Schaller roller bridge was specified as well.

This instrument has a book matched 4A flame top with a mahogany body. The neck is the 3-piece “Stressed System” in mahogany with an very black ebony fingerboard. The pickups are Seymour Duncan Custom and Custom Custom, VVT controls and 3-way switch. 7 lbs., 10 oz.

This piece is dead nuts mint. There is not a scratch, ding, mar or bump anywhere on the guitar. This listing includes the original Hamer hard shell case, case candy and Custom Shop COA. Shipping cost includes full Reverb protection ($$$).

This is really cool: I heard from the gentleman that originally custom-ordered this guitar. He ordered it in ruby red, but somewhere lost in translation was the fact that he wanted an opaque finish, and Hamer built it with a 4A top and ruby trans finish (this could not possibly have been the fault of the Custom Shop Manager 😉). When the mistake was discovered, Hamer built him another guitar with the correct finish.
