A really cool and very RARE Vintage Guitar. It’s a 1976 Electra Hand Carved Oak Leaf Tree of Life Model 2247 Guitar. Very Cool Guitar with the original Hardshell Case and even Case Candy. We have the unfilled out Registration Booklet. WHOA!!

Electra guitars were made in Japan by the Fuji Gen Gakki Guitar Company. Fuji Gen made many very cool guitars for export to the USA under the brands such as Apollo, Avalon, Greco, Kent, Noble, and Zim-Gar. Electras were always one of the highest priced guitars in their line-up. Great Guitar Builder!!

The cool Vintage Electra Guitar has a Beautiful Oak Cluster of Leaves carved into the Solid Mahogangy body. The Maple neck with maple fingerboard has the Genuine Abalone Shell Tree of Life Vine inlaid into it.. The frets have very little wear. Our Tech recrowned and polished them to look like new! All original to include the massive sounding Magnaflux Humbucker Pickups…..This guitar looks great but sounds really cool!

We dated the guitar from the dated Maxon Pickups. See pic 7. No serial numbers on this one to date it but we also found it in the 1976 Electra Catalog we have access to. The guitar has a 24 3/4 inch scale neck and the nut measures 1 5/8 inches. It weighs in at 7 lbs 6 ozs.

This beautiful guitar has the original nut, Cutom Branded truss rod cover, Electra Original Tuners, knobs, Pickguard, Magnaflux Humbucker Pickups, and that beautiful carved Mahogany body and inlaid Maple Neck. Yes, they hand carved the body..says so in the 1976 Electra Catalog… It also has the Gibson Style Headstock with the Abalone Vase Design...What a fantastic Guitar!

We had this guitar Professionally setup by our Tech with a set of new 9 guage strings. It plays great with low playing action that’s a pleasure to play. No sore fingers with this guitar. All electronics are checked out and this guitar is ready to gig when you get it. Its a beautiful guitar that was very well maintained… Its a beauty!

Check out the original Hard Shell Case. As nice as the guitar. All the latches, hinges and original handle are still with it and operating correctly. Even the accessory box is still with this case. Also, check out the original Electra Registration Booklet that was designed to be a hangtag for these guitars. Its unfilled out and even has the hangtag string still with it. Check those pics 17 and 18.
