For your consideration, we present a prototype from the Larrivee Custom Shop.
The bones of this LV-10 is not unlike many other LV-10s on the market, featuring top-grade tonewoods and fine Larrivee craftsmanship. A British Columbian Sitka Spruce top is mated to an East Indian Rosewood back & sides, and the African Khaya Mahogany neck bears an African Ebony fingerboard. According to our source at Larrivee, this Custom Shop example is a prototype, with stunning Synthetic Blue Abalone replacing the the standard Abalone accents throughout the instrument. The blue accents appear on the headstock logo, throughout the fingerboard, around the body binding and rosette, and accenting the Ebony bridge. This one-of-a-kind instrument has all the "gingerbread" to stand far apart from the crowd and will draw all the ooh's-and-aah's of your fellow gearheads.
