Musicman’s first production guitar, the Silhouette continues to be a strong player in the manufacturer's diverse line-up. With it’s 1 ⅝” nut width and lightweight alder body, these instruments are a gig musician’s best friend.
This particular 1992 Silhouette is in very good to excellent condition and is a joy to play. This guitar looks to have been seldom played by the previous owner and has its whole life ahead of it. The body, back, and sides show light signs of wear for a 30+ year old guitar and there are no real eyesores. The bridge saddles look to have been upgraded to Graph Tech style.
The neck is absolutely stunning birdseyemaple. The frets have plenty of life left and should be good for the foreseeable future. The back of the neck is clean and plays fast. The headstock is also clean and the tuners are in excellent shape.
The electronics have been upgraded to (2) Seymour Duncan Hot Rails (neck & bridge) and (1) Lace Sensor (middle). These pickups make this guitar a bit of a flamethrower, but it tames up when you want it to.
This is a great opportunity to grab an early 90’s Musicman.
