Studio Electronics set out to recreate the iconic Minimoog with full MIDI control, and the result was the Studio Electronics SE-1. It's a massive, bass-heavy three-oscillator synth with massive analog tone and a ton of additional modulation options that go beyond the original Minimoog.
The oscillators, filter, and VCA were all licensed from Moog, and Dr. Bob Moog himself consulted on the SE-1 project! It's a remarkable synthesizer for a great price, and mine is in excellent condition. There are some light scratches on the top, but it looks terrific when racked. The screen is bright and all controls and LEDs work beautifully.
