The all new AXN™ Model ‘83 features replica-level detail. All the woods and hardware including the inspiration for this model was based on lab analysis of the original 1983 Baretta. The AXN '83 is the ONLY guitar with the exact same neck profile as the 1983 Kramer Baretta.

Our guitar is the most complete, accurate and refined reincarnation of the guitar that forms the legend. The all AXN ‘83 retains the exact neck shape as the original Baretta while boasting our new body style.

The AXN 83 is an exercise in luthiery executed by talented craftsman and a creative team of artists. With seemingly supernatural talents, a niche fascination with 1980s guitars, and a skillset spanning three decades our luthiers pledged an allegiance to this successful project.

We applied common sense touches to features such as our AXN™ SuperWide™ Boutique Sustain Block. We utilize the highest quality hand chosen exotic AAA-grade woods. We offer near-to-any body wood including basswood, swamp ash, northern ash wood and prime alder wood body.

A 1980s style oil finish provides that same feel on the back of the neck as the original. These elements reach and exceed by far the precision, hardware and wood quality used back in the day.

Our Standard ‘83 will showcase AXN™ Guitars standard unique features again such as an accurate Floyd Rose nut that matches our fast playing AXN 15” fretboard radius. A Floyd Rose bridge that also has a 15” saddle radius to match our flat fretboard. Maybe sometimes we’ll add an exotic wood skunk stripe. We like to use super high quality quarter-sawn woods… maybe flamey or birdseye maple necks and finish graphics.

We use common-sense. The placement of a single volume knob locates the control away from the play area. We will use modern F spaced pickups packed with 80s DNA. Our AXN™ SuperWide™ Sustain block or a steel AXN model-’84 sustain block emulating those original Floyd Rose prototype tremelos fills the ‘83 tremolo cavity.
