The PT Fastback is modeled after the instrument thatlegendary guitarist Pete Townshend made famous during The Who's early'80s tours. This instrument was, for many guitarists, an introduction tothe tonal capabilities, supreme playability, and utterly coolappearance of Schecter guitars. Now the Schecter PT Fastback hasreturned from the stadiums of 1982 and ready to roll into the centuryand into your hands.
This alder bodied classic T style design has a 25.5-inch scale mapleneck with 22 extra jumbo frets for digging into some serious lead andrhythm work. The creme binding and block inlays really make thisinstrument stand out with some classy appointments. The pickups areDuncan Designed alnico pickups. In the bridge is FG-101, for somesnarling and growling tones, as well as some real jangle and twang whenits coil is split through the tone's push/pull pot. The neck pickup is aDuncan Designed HB-102, modeled after the famous Jazz neck pickup, andcan also be coil split with its push/pull pot in the tone knob. Thesepickups and the coil split options give the PT Fastback an astoundingarray of tones.
