Fender Telecaster GLAS Custom 64' Relic 7.2LB

Glas Custom hand Relic summer 64' collection Fender Telecaster, in Arctic white with aged plastics, full vintage wiring, top class electronics and components and brand new Fender Tweedcase. Completely hand finished and built here in Los Angeles CA.

Fender Maple 9.5 radius C has been fully stripped and finished in amber nitro, sanded from 400-5000 grit for a silky smooth satin feel. med slim profile frets are new been hand rolled, crowned dressed and polished, and feel superb. Hand shaped nut and relic'd fret board and rear relic work give this a great mid relic feel, not to heavy, not to much. Looks old feels broken in but it plays like new. As this is a riff on a 64' pre CBS it has the period correct decal, that has been hand finished and distressed. Vintage klusons to top it off.

Fender Alder body is a fantastic 7.2lb. Hand finished from 320-5000 grit to matt white, with all the dulling, scratches, play wear and dings you would hope to find on a Vintage fender. We based this relic work on a authentic 69' we have in house.

All hardware is relic'd and the Fender vintage bridge has brass rolled saddles. The electronics are the best you can find, CTS 250 audio taper pots, 3 way Fender blade switch, full vintage wiring with a 047uf orange drop cap. Vintage 90's flat pole US Fender in the bridge, and the truly sublime Arcane '42 experience' neck pickup. If you are not aware of these incredible pickup makers please check them out- this pickup is everything you always wanted from you Tele neck pick up- it delivers the same response as a vintage strat neck pick up, but in the classic telecaster shape and form. These guys are as boutique as they come, everything wound completely by hand and to full vintage specs, all based here in LA. Both on there own sound killer but, the middle position has an almost peter green tonality to it, its really quite unique a sound. Its listed as excellent but its a relic.

They guitar chimes both unplugged and plugged in, super versatile and being a Tele its the one axe that can kinda do it all. Plays like butter and delivers for sure. Looks old, but its pretty much brand new!

Comes with a brand new fender tweed case and keys.

Every inch if this guitar has been done by hand, every screw and part relic'd and positioned with care and attention. Weather you like relic work or not, please appreciate the hours and hours of time that go into theses. Get a quality relic at less than half the price of a custom shop!
