This is from my personal collection and is by far the nicest Japanese Jazz bass I’ve had. The neck feels incredible with a very distinct and comfortable feel. The flame maple is some of the nicest figuring I’ve seen on any instrument and the sunburst finish is truly exceptional on this bass. This is a very good example of Japanese craftsmanship surpassing the quality of Fender at the time. Made in the Fujigen factory, this is a true rarity under the Rodie brand name
Its in very good condition with only minor cosmetic imperfections such as nicks, chips, scratches, and scuffs. The pickups have been replaced prior to me purchasing and sound very good. The neck is in great health with no issues such as bows or twists. The frets show some wear but have plenty of life left. All hardwear other than the pickups are original and of high quality.
