This Burns London Double Six Crimson Burst is part of the private collection of Chris Shiflett.

"Nick Rasculinecz, who produced the first two Foo Fighter records I played on, told me once that Burns 12 strings were the best so I picked this up on a tour stop in Seattle or Portland. I think I bought one for Nick too!"
-Chris Shiflett

First introduced in 1963, the Double Six Guitar is by far the most user friendly 12 string guitar on the market today. The 50mm nut allows ample room for the strings to be separated for easier fingering. The strings are fitted through a Gotoh bridge, specially designed to achieve perfect intonation and it has seven different pickup selections.

This is the guitar model that Elvis is seen playing in the movie Spinout.  It would be a great for any type of rock music including surf (the six string version of the guitar is the Marvin signature) and will add tons of jangle to any folk pop, no matter what season.
