Heartfield RR-7, Made in Japan
Heartfield was a short-lived Fender brand made in the Fuijgen Gakki factory in the late 80's and early 90's, making this guitar a rarity.
It's really well made, single coil in the neck, humbucker in the bridge, 3 way switch, master tone and volume, Gotoh locking tuners and and a Strat trem. The trem is excellent and it stays in tune really well, even with the odd dive bomb (as far as you can go with a vintage style trem anyway!).
The colour is apparently Lake Placid blue, but it actually has a slight green tint to it, which my camera wouldn't pick up. Either way, it's a beautiful colour!
The neck feels really nice to play, similar to a Strat with the 25.5 inch scale length and 9.5" fret radius.
Bought a couple of months ago in a moment of weakness. I really shouldn't have bought it as I have too many and I'd rather it be played more, instead of being sat on a stand.
