This 2007 Pork Pie 6.5x14 snare features an 8-ply maple shell finished in Aged Maple.
The 6.5" depth gives the drum a fuller physical presence and broader tuning range than a shallower wood snare, while the 14" diameter keeps it firmly in classic all-purpose territory.
Pork Pie’s proprietary hourglass-shaped lugs give the drum its immediately recognizable look, paired here with 2.3mm flanged hoops and Remo heads.
The maple shell provides a familiar foundation: warm and balanced through the middle frequencies, with enough attack and definition to remain articulate across a wide tuning range.
The Aged Maple finish is one of the most attractive elements of this drum. Rather than covering the shell in an opaque color, it leaves the grain visible and gives the drum a warm, naturally aged appearance.
This example has been very well cared for and remains exceptionally clean overall.

Excellent used condition. The shell, Aged Maple finish, hoops, lugs, and remaining hardware present very well, with only minimal signs of careful use. The drum is fully functional and ready to play.
