Baldwin Vibraslim Bass built in the late 60s in the UK by Baldwin. Serial No. 21699. Semi-hollow, short scale string-thru design with unique Reso-tube bridge, including the (often missing) string mute/damper. Original Burns-designed pickups which sound excellent individually and combined (bridge pickup re-wound by previous owner).
Fresh flat-wound Rotosound strings and professional set-up by Steamboat Amps in Houston, TX. Plays great, sounds great, looks great.
Wear is consistent with age. Some cracking and chipping in the (very thick) lacquer finish, particularly around the binding. Body otherwise in excellent shape. Neck is straight and also in great shape.
Original hardshell case included and in great condition for its age, aside from a crack near the lower strap button which was recently glued and is structurally sound. Original Baldwin-branded neck strap included and functional.
