Fantom Speedstar Matsumoku Strat Japan 1970s Black

Matsumoku made strat that plays and sounds fantastic. The “Fantom” brand name really has the “spaghetti“ style font and looks awesome.

It plays great with nice low action, the frets have plenty of life and the neck is nice and straight. It does have some minor nicks, chips, scratches and scuffs, as well as either two minor seam splits or stable cracks at the bottom of the guitar. It is hard to notice in person but well pictured. This is a very solid Japanese instrument with plenty of life left to give.
