Jay Wolfe approached Chris Mitchell of CMG Guitars in Statesboro, Georgia to see if he'd build us some LP JR. slab body style Guitars. Chris makes his Guitars in America. He agreed and we just received the prototype, photographed here.
We will sell one of the Prototypes for $1450 including a well padded CMG logo Gig Bag. Shipping is $68.
The requested specs include: * Honduran Mahogany body, Lollar P-90's, real Nitro finish, intonatable wraparound bridge, etc. Some minor changes will be implemented going forward, including- dot fingerboard inlays, BWB bevel edge pickguard, single pickup available, lighter weight tuning keys, and we'll have translucent cherry and sunburst finishes also. Other pickup options are available. We are shooting a demo video at present and hope to do several. The price with well padded gig bag is $1695, including TV Yellow finish. This is a beautifully made, top quality, hard charging guitar.
