Fender Vibrolux Reverb 1968 Chassis Only great deal!

If you are looking at this, you probably know that that Vibrolux Reverbs are tone-monsters. Deep, rich & lush, with a lot of punch. Way better than the Deluxe Reverb in my opinion.

 The 1968 & 1969 drip edge amps retained the same circuit as the Blackface versions.

 For sale here is the chassis only. Transformers, caps & date codes all check out as expected.  Compared to the reissue VR’s for $1,200, adding speakers and a cab would be better route in the search for quality tone. The power supply caps have been replaced, and a few small mods reversed, nothing that would alter the sound or output of its tonal qualities. This amp was gone through by a long time old school amp tech who has worked on Fenders for 40 years – he knows his stuff!

 This retains the desierable blue molded caps, & original heavy transformers, very few of the original caps have been changed.

  If you are willing to pay the extra shipping, for $50 I’ll include a 2*10 black Tolex Fender style cab in rough shape with no speakers. The cab fits the chassis perfectly, has no speakers, and may be an 80’s or 90’s era cab. Contact me first about this. This is a great way to get a $3,500 amp for a lot less.
