Newman/Mondell 5 String Unitone

A truly unique instrument that represents the collaboration of two of the most innovative contemporary guitar makers. Newman guitars carrys on the legacy of Ted Newman Jones, Rolling Stones guitar tech and Luthier to the stars, while Mondell instruments are the creation of Robert Mondell, a one-man builder who's designs each represent a one-of-a-kind instrument. This 5 string model retains the traditional Newman single cut shape initially concieved by Ted and Keith Richards, but with Mondell's own "unitone" design which attaches the neck, pickup, and bridge to an underlying metal plate for incredible resonance and sustain as well as unique overtones that give these instruments a sound unlike anything else.
