Behold the Echolette Showstar amplifier - a great sounding and awesome looking example of German engineering achievements back in the sixties.
This particular Showstar is in a Mint visual condition and near Mint technical condition as it is a piece from a collection and was sitting in the shelf from its manufacturing date till now. It would be nice to have contact cleaning as it sometimes produces those cracking sounds when the knobs are turned. Nevertheless - it does everything it suppose to do also without any effort as well (...as long as You do not turn the knobs too frequently). Comes with the all original booklet.
The tone versatility of this amplifier is astonishing - from gritty distortion to deep and rich vintage sounds. No wonder that back in the day The Beatles preferred Echolette amplifiers and echo machines.
What else can I mention... The Echolette Showstar is fitted with two el34 tubes and has a pretty straight forward vibrato/tremolo option that sounds just beautiful.
