Freshly set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech, this venerable and extremely rare Kel Kroydon KK-20 Mandolin is playing and sounding just as it should.  Kel Kroydon was a line of instruments made by Gibson for only a few years.  The guitars have become highly collectable, most notably in the hands of Wilco frontman, Jeff Tweedy, a connoisseur of vintage acoustics. In Good vintage condition with normal wear and tear including finish scratches and cracks (see photos).  Comes with period hard shell case.  See below for more details and specifications.

FROM REVERB.COM:

The Kel Kroydon brand, featuring guitars, banjos and mandolins, first appeared in 1929 in its KK line of acoustics, according to the book “Spann's Guide to Gibson 1902-1941.” The KK-1, the KK-2 and KK-3 guitars, along with a KK-11 banjo, appeared in 1930, with the banjos and the KK acoustic line again in 1931, with the KK-1 listed as a tenor guitar. The KK-20 mandolin corresponds to the rarely seen Gibson C-1 model made only in 1932.
