This is a one-of-a-kind custom thinline made by Mr. Kazuhiko Nurai, the representative of PGM (Premium Guitar Manufacture), the proud component factory in Japan, who is also well-known for Moon and Vanzandt.
The sound of the custom Thinline is not only the result of careful selection of materials, but also of the way it is built in, which is the lifeblood of PGM.
It is very lightweight and has a stronger hollow feel than the ES335 and other models, making it easy to handle. The body is made of beautiful maple top and mahogany back with hollow construction. The neck is made of mahogany and the fingerboard is made of high-grade ebony.
The most notable feature is the Lollar Charlie Christian P.U. on the front. The powerful, attack and core CC P.U. is the best match for the hollow body! The choice of ebony fingerboard and hard maple for the wood material gives a clear mid-range output with a well-balanced tone shift from the front, mix, and rear. The tone shifts well balanced from the front, mix, and rear.
The color was selected to match the P.U., and a subdued two-color burst was selected.
Modern specifications such as 22F and 305(12)R radius fretboard are used for the parts related to playability. Combined with the ebony fingerboard, it provides a very quick response. The bridge is a GTC101 6-way with a high level of tuning accuracy.
From material selection, parts selection, pickup selection, and setup, the craftsmanship of a guitar maker who has been making guitars since the 1970s promises musicians playability and sound that is one rank above the rest.
