A brand new mandolin model from Eastman, the MDO305E continues the legacy of the MDO305 mandolin but with the addition of a sunburst finish and a K&K Duotone pickup.
Like violins, the mandolin is part of a whole family. After the mandolin comes the Mandola, then the Mandocello and finally the Mando bass. The octave mandolin is something of an Irish stepsister to the family, but is no less loved for that.
Because of its lower register, it is often used as an accompanying instrument, with its deep and rich sound.
Like other models, this Octave mandolin includes an A-style body with solid maple sides and back and a solid spruce top, maple neck, ebony fingerboard and adjustable ebony bridge. Perfectly tuned and finished as befits Eastman and ready to be played.
Includes a gig bag with certificate of authenticity.
