About This Listing

Hi,

Up for sale is the Musima Lead Star stratocaster copy. Guitar was made in late 70's or early 80's - it does not have the headstock logo although it does have serial number on neck mounting plate.

It's in great condition - few scratches on the body, minor wear marks on the fretboard (even though it's a maple neck, well preserved), frets still have loads of time before they would even need proper level & crowning. Fully working electrics.

It's a KILLER strat copy - as good instrument as any japanese strat you can find, and probably sounds just as good as Fenders 3 times the price. Build quality for these was best of what could be made in East Germany at the time, and it shows. Wiring, hardware, pickups, all looks extremely well put together - check the photos for details.

Sound is exactly what you expect from real strat - bright and cutting on bridge position to the neck pickup with cream on top of the single sound. With all inbetweens, very good quality pots and adding to range of tones you can get.

If you like old japanese strats such as Tokai, Greco, Ibanez, Fernandes, Burny etc you will get exactly that vibe for half the price.

Knobs is not stock.
