YES this was made by Michael Stevens in Alpine TX!  It has been my personal guitar for a dozen years where it has lived in a smoke free, climate controlled environment.  I have sold dozens of Michael's guitars and kept this for myself because it is the finest sounding.  It has the perfect balance of highs and mids with lows.  It is so beautiful sounding.  Full and rich.  Overtones.  Nuance.  Sadly I simply don't play very much for fun and it's time for this to reside with a player who will use it. The guitar is in a strong VG condition with Original white case, tools and fretboard overlay that Michael sends with his guitars.  The pickups are Tom Holmes 455/450 and are replacements from the stock high wound Holmes that originally came with the piece (no I don't have the originals...and if you ask 'do I know what happened to them" I will send you a wiseass answer.   The pots have been replaced over the years just because.  You are getting a piece of history and a collectible.  You are also getting the best sounding one (in my opinion) from a collection.
