I had the good fortune of winning a few guitars from the Peter Green Estate auction. Keeping two, letting two go. This was one of Peter’s favorite guitars in the later part of his life, so much so that he bought 3 other versions in other colors. This was the only professional Japanese Gretsch version though. The guitar is in immaculate condition, the case has some marks but is clean and without damage. Guitar plays and sounds amazing.
The guitar will come with the original strings Peter had on it in the case, a letter from Bonhams auction house signed by Peter’s family estate verifying the guitar, as well as the auction sheet for the guitar. I was lucky enough to be on tour in the UK, and picked up the guitars from Bonhams and flew them back on the plane with me.
Incredible opportunity for someone to own a guitar owned by imo the best blues guitarist to ever live. Insane collection and discussion piece, and something that will certainly go up in value down the road.
