Fender Telecaster (Kurt Cobain Version)

A Cobain guitar collection rarity! Fender Telecaster Custom Made in Japan, Double Bound, 3 Tone Sunburst Telecaster with mods inspired by Kurt Cobain’s last favorite guitar. Cobain used a Tele as his writing guitar from late 93 through 94 until his passing. This guitar was modified to match similar specifications by a professional Luthier. The body was routed to add Seymour Duncan humbuckers: high voltage nickel cover and black JB. New 500k pots were wired by the Luthier to handle the humbuckers. Gotoh bridge and machine heads, tuners, were added. An original “Fender” made in Japan neckplate was added like Cobain’s guitar would have had in the 90’s. There are some minor cosmetic damaged areas, see photos. The top of the head stock has a dent and the lower left side of the body at the bounding has some faint cracks. The new Fender Tele tweed hardcase IS NOT INCLUDED. Guitar comes with a fender gig bag. A full setup was performed by the Luthier including new strings, fret polishing and intonation.
