Danelectro Guitarlin, Very Rare!
*FINAL Price Drop!*
Late 90's Danelectro re-issue Guitarlin in Commie Red. This is the "longhorn" body style. These are from the first run of reissues and was manufactured in Korea. The guitars are quite rare and this one is priced to sell! These instruments have 31 frets, 25" scale and were designed to replicate the sound of a mandolin above the 17th fret (works really well when capoed at the 12th fret). I am the second owner of this instrument and purchased it from the original owner in 2000. There are some dings, scratches and play wear on the body and neck but nothing that effects the function/playability of the instrument. I have done my best to demonstrate this in the photographs. The guitar is priced to reflect this. It has come by some mild relicing honestly: many gigs and recording sessions. It has been used but not abused and will provide many more years of service to the buyer. Frets are still in great shape, mild play wear. Pickups (original), switch and all electronics function well. There is some mild scratchiness when adjusting the stacked tone knobs. Truss rod, bridge and tuners function properly and are all original. Tape around the body is in great shape. The guitar was recently set up by a local, well known professional luthier (name available upon request). Neck is set up with some relief for playability in the upper register and is strung with 10's. Plays well and sounds amazing. Lots of jangle and cuts through the mix well. It's very lightweight at just over 6 lbs. Also included is the original Danelectro "tweed" gig bag which is in excellent condition. Will be professionally packed for shipping.
