The Aslin Dane Emperor is an incredible instrument boasting a Gabon Mahogany back and solid Maple top capped with beautiful Quilt maple veneer and accented with 5 ply binding. The one-piece Mahogany neck is meticulously tenon and mortised into the body and has a Roasted Jatoba fingerboard with Block position markers. 15:1 sealed die-cast machines keep you in tune and provide for accurate tunning. The fingerboard has 22 hardened nickel silver frets beautifully dressed and polished. The Custom 58 alnico-5 pickups make this instrument absolute workhorse for Rock, Blues or Jazz. The classic TOM bridge and stop tail piece finish off the beautiful instrument. 15:1 sealed Die cast tuners. Make for an excellent instrument. The tone controls feature: 2 volumes, 2 tone and a 3 position pickup selector. This instrument weighs in at 7lbs and has a solid feel of quality.
Professionally set up : We dress the fret set the action to (High E string is set at 1.2 mm above the 12th fret and the Low E string is set at 1.5mm above the 12th fret). We set the intonation, so it plays in tune all the way up the neck. We compounded the back of the neck for a nice silky-smooth feel. It plays great! This instrument is perfect for a working musician who demands a quality instrument at a reasonable price. If you're looking for exceptional value here it is.
