The Aslin Dane Jazz is possibly the best 335 Style guitar in its Class. Super-fast neck on this Semi hollow body guitar. Workhorse for Blues, Jazz or Rock. Gorgeous High Gloss Flame Maple top in a beautiful Vintage Tobacco Sunburst. The sides and back are Mahogany 5ply construction, The roasted Brazilian Jatoba fingerboard is hard fast and delivers a crisp articulate tone. 2 Vintage PAF style Humbucking pickups, stop tailpiece, 15:1 sealed Die cast tuners. Make for an excellent instrument. The tone controls feature: 2 volumes, 2 tone and a 3 position pickup selector. This instrument weighs in at 7lbs and has a solid feel of quality.
Professionally set up by the experienced guitar luthier: We dress the fret set the action to (High E string is set at 1.2 mm above the 12th fret and the Low E string is set at 1.5mm above the 12th fret). We set the intonation, so it plays in tune all the way up the neck. We compounded the back of the neck for a nice silky-smooth feel. It plays great!
