I have not been able to identify this mystery instrument. I thought it was a bandjo then i took it to a folk music store and the owner told me she thought it was a banjolele from the 20s. She had a book and found something similar. There are no identifiable logos or markings. Your guess is as good as mine. I know nothing about this item at all! just dont have time to figure it out.
