So, this is an early '70s Signet acoustic 12 string. Research shows these were made to order in Japan. Not many of the 12 strings were made, making this somewhat rare. They were produced by the Selmer Co, a Division of the Magnavox Company in Elkhart, Indiana for distribution in the USA. The tone and quality equal that of some of the finest guitars made.
This guitar is in excellent condition, with very little wear. It does have some cloudy spots in its lacquer, but no separation. It also has some very light scratches and dings, but considering its nearly 50 years of age, not much. The bridge is secure and solid. There is very little fret ware!
It has been restrung with D'Addario EJ38 12-String Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings 10-47. Another neat feature is the adjustable saddle. The action is very low with no buzzing! It plays like butter!
A softshell case is included, but isn’t in great shape.
