Now discontinued. Only two left!
The Citrine is a modified D+/250 style overdrive featuring a modified British-style EQ. There’s a wide input range with enough bass allowed in the front to accommodate a 7-string.
The internal EQ sits further from the classic rock world and closer to the modified amps used by early metal bands. Cutting mids, tight bass, and a biting top end. A slight scoop in the muddy frequencies keeps everything tight and present.
The clipping section has the same responsive gain control but with a three-way switch to fine tune the saturation and compression. The filters tied to the gain control have a less pronounced bass cut as well, keeping those low tunings heavy.
A buffer is used as the final output stage, disconnecting the volume control from the EQ for minimal frequency loss. The buffer is out of the audio path when the pedal is bypassed.
