The Huss & Dalton CM-12 Custom is an artistic and elegant guitar built on simplicity and contrast. A build that highlights the woods with no added Pearl, this 12-fret short scale guitar is handmade with a great set of dark Macassar Ebony with lighter streaks for the back and sides paired with a white Italian Spruce top. Custom features include Macassar Ebony fretboard and bridge with light/ dark stripes, full Black Ebony bindings with matching rosette, Macassar Ebony headstock overlay with Pearl logo plus the Adirondack Spruce scalloped X braces and Hot Hide Glue construction under the hood drive this powerful CM-12.

Robust tone and reflection with clarity and presence. The Italian Spruce has a volume and punch similar to Adirondack Spruce but with an extra sweetness and a slight broken in sound. Paired perfectly with the Macassar Ebony the sound is big and round with warm bass and clear mids. Similar in size to Huss & Dalton’s 000 but with a 15 1/4” body width and 4 5/8” body depth- a 1/4” and 1/2” larger respectively, this deep body lap guitar is comfortable to play with the shorter scale length and 1 3/4″ nut. It’s a great hybrid build. Think powerful lap guitar or small 12-fret dreadnought.
