Camco Oaklawn 5x14, 8-lug snare 1960's - sparkle
Silver sparkle Camco snare, 5x14, 8-lug. I know it looks a bit golden in the pics, but it is pure silver in person.
The throw, butt, lugs, hoops, t-rods, and shell are all original. Even has the fat washers on the t-rods. There are no extra holes in the shell. There are no issues with the shell, the heads spin freely. Zero ply separation, no worries.
The internal muffler has been replaced with an aftermarket model that fit the original holes. It works, but this drum deserves better.
The drum key holder was missing, so I installed a screw-type grommet to protect the shell until one could be found.
The wrap is original, no fading. It is tight and smooth. It glows in person. The throw and snare tension knob work as they should. I'm not sure that the snares are Camco, but they are straight and true.
